I just told my husband who is also Punjabi what Punjab means - he didn’t know. Now, he’ll never forget. Coincidentally, he also lived in the West Bank, albeit for a short period, and feels deeply connected to Palestine. He keeps having karmic moments with Palestinians in the diaspora too.
